In 2013, Eduard Navarro founded Net de Gerrers and received the firm’s initial mandate from its anchor client, a preeminent U.S. institutional investor with ~ $3 billion AuM in real assets. The objective was to capitalize upon the disruptions in the Spanish real estate market, which were attributable to the country’s economic crisis. On behalf of NdG’s original capital partner, Mr. Navarro acquired Atocha 55, the emblematic residential building in the heart of Madrid. During the subsequent years, he has built a team of seasoned investment professionals with backgrounds in real estate and cross-border finance. The team, which enjoys a collegial culture and possesses an entrepreneurial DNA, has achieved operational scale and has acquired and currently manages a portfolio of over 500 residential units. These properties represent both development and opportunistic investment strategies.
